What to Expect on Your Tour

This is an active, outdoor adventure designed for guests who enjoy walking, fresh sea air, and dramatic coastal scenery.

Over two days, you will hike along sections of the Jurassic Coast and the Isle of Portland, covering varied terrain including cliff-top paths, woodland trails, grassy headlands, and uneven coastal tracks. Expect moderate daily walking with inclines and some longer stretches between stops.

You can look forward to:

- Spectacular sea views and iconic landmarks
- Fossil-rich beaches and dramatic limestone formations
- Guided commentary on geology and history
- A relaxed but active pace with time for photos and rest breaks

On one afternoon, there is the optional opportunity to join a guided kayak experience . This offers a unique perspective of the coastline from the water. The kayak activity is weather dependent and suitable for beginners with basic confidence around water.

This tour operates in all typical British weather conditions, so please come prepared with sturdy walking shoes, layered clothing, and waterproofs if necessary.

If you enjoy immersive, active exploration rather than coach-based sightseeing, this experience is for you.
