HOW DOES THIS TOUR WORK?
Our tours are part guided. This means at each site your guide will give you a brief description of the area, orientate you, talk to you about its history and explain its geology.
You will then have free time to explore the area as you wish before moving on to the next site.
ACCESS TO DURDLE DOOR
The path to Durdle Door is around 100-200 meters and fairly steep with some uneven ground, this may not be suitable for all. Sensible footwear should be worn.
MINIMUM NUMBER
This tour needs a minimum number of passengers to operate. If this number is not met 3-5 days before your tour date you will be offered an alternative date (if available) or the tour will be canceled and you will be refunded in full.

Glastonbury
We hope you’ve had a hearty breakfast because this morning we head to the Mystical and enigmatic hill of Glastonbury Tor!
The Tor has long had links to the Isle of Avalon, where King Arthur was buried after his death. You’ll climb the hill that rises 158m above the surrounding county which offers spectacular 360 degree views over Glastonbury.
Stonehenge
Then it’s off to visit the magical ancient site of Stonehenge, World Heritage Site. Learn about the millennia of use that created Stonehenge as we see it today. Fortress, calendar, temple or hospital? You decide.
Salisbury & Salisbury Cathedral
We then visit Salisbury, the historic city and market town that grew up around the cathedral. Explore Salisbury Cathedral, built in 1220, the tallest and most beautiful church building in Britain. Within the Cathedral view the best preserved copy of the Magna Carta, the medieval document written in 1215, that forms the foundation of the rule of law and many countries’ constitutions.
Head back to Bournemouth
After a fantastic 2 days exploring the South West, we head back the Wiltshire countryside to your drop off point in Bournemouth.
