For smaller private groups, we use modern Ford Tourneo vehicles that comfortably seat up to 8 passengers. For larger groups, we can arrange spacious coaches accommodating up to 49 people.

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the activity start time. If you cancel within 48 hours of departure, or fail to attend, no refund will be issued.

More than 48 hours’ notice before the tour: 100% refund*
Less than 48 hours’ notice before the tour: No refund

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the scheduled departure time.

Ship Unable to Dock (Cruise Passengers)

In the event that your ship is unable to dock due to bad weather or an itinerary change, you will be entitled to a full refund.

*Please note: Stripe, our payment processing provider, may retain a processing fee of up to 3.25% to 4.9%, which is beyond our control.

Yes, we regularly collect cruise passengers from Portland Port for private shore excursions. We will plan your itinerary around your ship’s arrival and departure times to make sure the day runs smoothly.

Will we get back to our ship on time? (Cruise Passengers)

We carefully plan private cruise excursions around your ship’s departure time and always aim to return to Portland Port with comfortable time to spare. Your itinerary will be designed with this in mind.

Can we choose where we go?

Yes. You can tell us the places you would like to visit, or simply tell us the type of day you want and we can suggest a route. We will always advise what is realistic within your available time.

What if we do not know where we want to go?

That is absolutely fine. Tell us your interests — scenery, history, villages, the Jurassic Coast, local food, photography, or family-friendly stops — and we can recommend a suitable private tour.

How many people can join a private tour?

Mobility & Accessibility

Our tours vary depending on the locations and sites visited, and some may be more suitable than others depending on individual mobility needs. Please note that some walking is necessary to access certain sites along the Jurassic Coast.
