Day Trip to Lyme Regis – Explore at Your Own Pace

Spend a relaxed and memorable day in the charming seaside town of Lyme Regis, known as the “Pearl of Dorset” and part of the world-famous Jurassic Coast.

This is a free-time experience, giving you approximately four hours to explore entirely at your own pace. Wander along the historic Cobb harbour, stroll the fossil-rich beach in search of ancient treasures, or browse the town’s independent shops, galleries, and bookshops tucked along its characterful streets.

You may wish to visit the Lyme Regis Museum, enjoy panoramic coastal views from the cliffs, or simply soak up the atmosphere with an ice cream on the seafront. There are plenty of inviting cafés, traditional pubs, and seafood restaurants where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch, from fresh fish and chips to cream teas overlooking the sea.

Your driver will drop you in the heart of the town and agree a clear meeting time for your return. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please, relaxed, unhurried, and entirely self-guided.
