Explore the Jurassic Coast
from Weymouth!

Dodge the Crowds. Explore Like a Local.

We're a tight-knit crew of local adventurers, who are passionate about the area we grew up in, Dorset!

We built Dorset Tours because we got tired of seeing people stuck on massive 50-seater buses, peering at the Jurassic Coast through tinted glass. We do things differently. We travel in small, agile groups and actually get out to explore.

Forget fighting for parking or wrestling with Google Maps. We take you straight to the good stuff! The secret coves, the towering cliffs, and the absolute best local pubs & sights!

The Dorset Tours Difference

Ditch the Car Keys

Don't waste your holiday fighting Weymouth traffic or paying premium parking fees. You relax, we drive.

Beyond the Traps

We take you to the quiet viewpoints and ancient ruins that the massive tour buses physically can't reach.

Small , Agile Groups

No waiting for 40 other people to get back on a bus. Our small groups mean more time exploring, less time waiting.

Pure Local Insight

No robotic scripts. We bring Dorset to life with raw history, local legends, and a proper sense of adventure.

Meet your Local guides

Skip the Big Coaches. Travel with Friends.

Hello! We’re Danny, Terri, Spencer and Katey.
We aren't a faceless international tour corporation. We are a passionate, small team of local guides based right here on the Isle of Portland.

We started this adventure because we believe the best way to experience the Jurassic Coast isn’t through the windows of a 50-seater coach with hundreds of other passengers. It’s in a small, personal group, exploring the hidden spots massive buses cannot reach.

Our first priority is getting you back to your ship on time, with stories and views you just won't find anywhere else.

If we need to cancel your tour due to insufficient numbers, you will be refunded in full.

Most of our tours include light to walking. Some locations, such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, involve uneven paths and gentle slopes. We always explain walking distances on the day, and participation is optional where possible and your guide can explain an alternative route if possble.
