Next, we travel to picture perfect Lulworth Cove, where you will see how tectonic forces shaped this remarkable coastline over 140 million years ago. Just along the coast lies iconic Durdle Door, the most famous limestone arch in Britain. Cameras ready, this is your Jurassic Coast selfie moment.

We then head to Weymouth for free time around the charming old harbour. Enjoy lunch at your leisure, perhaps traditional fish and chips and a pint of local ale, while soaking up the seaside atmosphere.

Finally, we explore the rugged Isle of Portland, stopping at the Olympic Rings viewpoint overlooking the sweeping 18 miles of Chesil Beach. If time allows, we will also visit Portland Bill Lighthouse at the island’s southern tip.

This carefully timed shore excursion is designed around your ship’s schedule, ensuring a relaxed yet comprehensive day exploring Dorset’s most iconic coastal highlights.
