Here you’ll have free time to visit the magical ancient site of Stonehenge World Heritage Site. Learn about the millennia of use that created Stonehenge as we see it today. Fortress, calendar, temple or hospital? You decide!

Salisbury & Salisbury Cathedral

Explore the historic city and market town of Salisbury that grew up around the cathedral. Visit Salisbury Cathedral, built in 1220, the tallest and most beautiful church building in Britain. Within the Cathedral view the best preserved copy of the Magna Carta, the medieval document written in 1215, that forms the foundation of the rule of law and many countries’ constitutions.

Head back to Portland

Heading back to Weymouth through the Wiltshire countryside, start uploading those spectacular shots you caught to social media!

HOW TO BOOK STONEHENGE TICKETS?

Stonehenge tickets are not included with our tours and must be purchased separately. You can buy them either online or directly at the gate.

Please note:
For those who prefer to book online, Stonehenge operate a timed ticket system, but they are flexible. For example, if you book for 11:30 AM and arrive at 12 PM, you will still be allowed entry.

See below for example booking times:
SHIP ARRIVES: 7 – 9 AM – BOOK TICKETS 11:30 AM
SHIP ARRIVES: 10 – 11 AM – BOOK TICKETS 12.30 PM

Keep in mind – Stonehenge tickets are non-refundable. If, for any reason, your ship does not dock or you need to cancel your tour, you will not be refunded for your Stonehenge tickets.

Salisbury Cathedral
For Salisbury Cathedral, there is no need to purchase tickets in advance; they are readily available at the door upon your arrival.

Before your tour date, it’s essential to check for any special events or occurrences at Stonehenge & Salisbury Cathedral. We cannot be held accountable if you are unable to gain entry due to failure to check the attractions schedule.

WHAT DOES "TRANSPORT ONLY" MEAN?

The English Heritage and the National Trust do not allow private guides or drivers on site.

You’ll have a dedicated driver to orientate you at each site and give you a time to be back at the minibus. Whilst not a traditional guide, they’ll make sure you’re all set for your own adventure!

WHEN DO WE ARRIVE BACK TO THE SHIP?

We always aim to return you to the ship at least 1 hour before your ships departure. While we do our best to give you plenty of time at each location, your ship’s schedule is our top priority. This means the order and timing of the itinerary may be adjusted on the day to ensure a smooth and timely return.
